Loyal visitors know that as a member of the European Blues Union we invite the winner of the European Blues Challenge. Noa & The Hell Drinkers won this contest in 2023, but the band was not available for our festival at that time. We are delighted that we finally managed to bring this Spanish band to Belgium for the first time.

 

Noa & The Hell Drinkers was formed in 2016 in Donostia-San Sebastian and has since released 3 albums. Live, it is a very dynamic act that brings a mix of blues, rock, funk and soul.

 

The graceful singer Noa totally charms you with her stage presence and vocally she also scores in accentless English. She is surrounded by four Hell Drinkers who provide a tight accompaniment.

 

We don't immediately associate Spain as the blues country par excellence, but with The Travellin' Brothers, A Contra Blues and Noa & The Hell Drinkers, the country delivered the most EBC winners. Noa & The Hell Drinkers toured all over Europe for the last 2 years and they have won new souls everywhere, so now our country may be included.
