Nienke Dingemans grew up in the southwest of the Netherlands and is one of the most striking young names in the Dutch roots, blues, and Americana scene. She discovered her love for music at the age of twelve during jam sessions, where she learned to play primarily from feeling and spontaneity.

Since then, she has developed into a versatile artist, active on guitar, lap steel, and piano, with a voice that can carry both strength and vulnerability.

Her breakthrough came in 2021 with the EP Devil on My Shoulder, which immediately made a big impression on the Americana charts. This was followed in 2024 by the album Ain't No Hollywood Girl, in which she further developed her style with influences from blues, soul, country, and jazz.

In the meantime, Nienke built a solid live reputation with performances in theaters, at festivals, and on radio and television programs. She has also shared the stage with names such as Ana Popovic, Jan Akkerman, Ad Vandenberg, and Keb' Mo'. In 2023, she was named Young Blues Talent by the Dutch Blues Foundation.

For her, live is all about freedom, storytelling, and musical interaction. Genres flow effortlessly into one another, making every performance spontaneous and unpredictable.
