Since her independent debut, *More Than Live* (1991), she has released eighteen albums in which blues, soul, R&B, and Americana constantly intersect. Her interpretations are intense and personal, with songs that balance power, loss, and hope. 

She has collaborated with artists such as Joe Bonamassa and Buddy Guy and has won multiple Blues Music Awards. She also received a Grammy® nomination for Love Wins Again and won the prestigious B.B. King Entertainer of the Year Award.
