DeWolff is a Hammond/guitar/drums power trio from the Netherlands that makes an explosive mix of electrically charged southern blues rock with a touch of soul and psychedelia. They are some of today's rawest, most energetic, road-hardened and virtuosic musicians and have been playing together since they were teenagers. Now, still in their mid-20s, they have already released 10 studio albums (7 of which have made the Dutch Top 20), 3 live albums and 2 EPs.

 

They have now played over 1000 shows in Europe, Australia, Indonesia and Russia, and even organize their own festival: ‘DeWolffest’. In 2019, the band won the prestigious Edison Award (the Dutch Grammy) for ‘Best Rock’.

 

They also toured with big names such as Toto, The Black Crowes, The Black Keys, Deep Purple, Ten Years After and Wolfmother.

 

In May 2024, the band traveled to Muscle Shoals, Alabama to record their tenth studio album at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studio where legends such as Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, the Stones and Little Richard also recorded their masterpieces. The album was released in early December 2024 and was aptly titled "Muscle Shoals.

 

This album was promoted during a sold-out European club tour and this summer the band is back at Pinkpop. Just to say we end our Friday night with a bang!
