Big Dave Reniers can safely be called a monument in our Belgian blues scene. The Antwerp singer and harmonica virtuoso wrote history in the 90s with the legendary The Electric Kings. Big Dave has never sat still in the past 3 decades, including with bands such as Mudvibe, 44 Rave, Crayon Sun, Little Hook, Elmore D and Big Dave & Mean Dispostion.

In late 2023, a new superband was formed in which he is accompanied by top musicians from Holland. The Dutchmen consist of guitarist Mischa Den Haring, brothers Dusty and Darryll Ciggaar on bass and drums, respectively, and Hammond wizard Roel Spanjer.

In April, this collaboration released the flagship album “Big Dave & The Dutchmen,” on which they perform delicious blues with a 50s vibe. The album was recorded in the studio of Stef Kamil Carlens and who also acted as producer.

In the spring, the album was launched with a successful club tour and our festival is also not to be missed on the agenda of this top formation.
